Founded in 2019 Oakwood Resource Group begun a journey to change up how traditional recruitment was done in the trades and engineering sectors. We partner with employers that are in need of full-time trade employees looking for a career and long-term growth prospects. At ORG we are not about short-term casual hires moving employees from shut down to shut down, we partner with all stakeholders both employer and candidate facilitating our client’s growth prospects by ensuring they have access to the very best talent in the trades & services professions.

John started his working career as an electrical apprentice working in various capacities as a qualified trade electrician in the industrial sector. Working alongside various trade roles provided John with a strong advantage when progressing into senior executive roles leading large teams of blue- and white-collar workers in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific Region. With now over 15 years of experience leading industrial services businesses operationally and strategically, John has been working with customers to find solutions to some of their greatest challenges at all levels. And during this time has come to learn very quickly you need good people if you are to be a leader in your industry.

John believes that there are many organisations both large and small, with great programs for elevating and engaging employees once they are indeed employed. For all these strengths an organisation may have they often lack the skills, resources, and strategy for attracting that talent to begin with.
